What is yoga nidra?

Yoga nidra is a guided meditation that is practiced in a comfortable, relaxed position, such as sitting back in a comfy chair or on the floor with pillows and blankets for support. The main physical benefit of yoga nidra is deep relaxation. It's greater purpose, however, is to bring us the gifts of wisdom, intelligence and understanding.

Janet Parachin is a certified Yoga therapist, Ayurveda Wellness Consultant and Reiki Master Teacher who has completed over 2000 hours of training in yoga anatomy, restorative and therapeutic yoga, Reiki and Ayurveda. She is the founder and Director of Yoga Spirit Academy yoga teacher training program in Tulsa, OK, USA since 2007.

She and her partner Victor Parachin founded Tulsa Yoga Meditation Center in 2010.
